Novelty (15 points)
    It can include:
  • The research should be novel and original in practice and aim to apply an innovative idea or improve an existing situation
  • The applicability of the idea, the need for it, and the extent to which it understands local, regional, and global challenges and trends.
  • The extent to which the solution provided differs from previous or current solutions in the same field.
project/ research planning (15 points)
    It can include:
  • Identifying the main challenge and objectives of the project.
  • Identifying the teamwork of the project and the mechanism for their involvement.
  • The presence of a clear and detailed work plan for the project.
  • Identifying the risks of the research project and ways to address them.
Method of application of the project/ research (20 points)
    It can include:
  • Gathering all practices, experiences, and initiatives applied in relation to the project and listing them in line with the literature review method and using reliable scientific references by refereed international journals or government agencies.
  • Determining the method of measuring and evaluating the results and the impact of the study on life and society.
  • Identifying the administrative methods and modern techniques that have been used in the application of project/ research and the resources that have been utilized, including human resources, financial resources, devices, and equipment.
  • How the team communicates (if any) and uses the method of teamwork in the completion of the study project.
  • Providing appropriate analysis and recommendations on the implementation of the project.
  • Knowledge transfer to other projects and ease of adoption of the solution by other parties.
Findings of the project/ research (40 points)
    It can include:
  • Evaluating the results and achievements of the existing challenge and linking them to the objectives and strategy of the Ministry
  • Conducting the added value and the effectiveness of the expected results in solving the challenge / ease of use / cost reduction.
  • Display results in the form of indicators, metrics, and statistics as numbers, ratios, or graphs resulting from the analysis and comparison of data.
  • Proof of the method of verification of the results obtained and their reference.
  • Recommendations on the extent to which the project can be expanded and made sustainable.
  • Obtaining intellectual property or patent or published research in local or global platforms.
Impact of the project/ research (10 points)
    It can include:
  • The extent to which the project/ research is linked to national strategy initiatives on enhancing quality of life and national well-being.
  • Measuring the impact of project/ research findings on quality and sustainability of life and community happiness.
  • The extent to which the research project affects local and global factors, including but not limited to: clarifying the impact of the study on environmental, economic (local and global), security, social, and other aspects.
