The Federal Law No. 14 of 2017 about the circulation of petroleum products, and which refers to the entry of petroleum products into the State, its manufacture, storage or packaging, or all forms of trading contrary to the provisions of this law and the decisions issued thereunder, applies to all areas in the country including the free zones, private development zones and investment zones.
Therefore, it is required from all establishments that trade in petroleum products in the State to document their conditions in accordance with the provisions of this law from the date of its issuance and have to implement it.

H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said: "We launched the Support Initiative of the Industry Sector to reaffirm the UAE's position on the global industry map as an attractive country for investment, which provides an integrated environment suitable for growth and sustainability".
HE Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry, said that more than 6,000 industrial facilities in the country would benefit from this initiative.

The National Energy Strategy 2050, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is the first strategy to promote the UAE's leadership in the energy sector
This strategy aims at raising the efficiency of the individual and the institutional consumption by 40%, raising the contribution of clean energy in the total energy mix produced in the country to 50% and looking forward to achieve savings of 700 billion dirhams until 2050.
The strategy targets a combination of renewables, nuclear and fossil fuels to ensure a balance between economic needs and the environmental goals, and that the UAE will invest AED 600 billion by 2050.
