Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure Handles over 350,000 Service Applications in 2023

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) announced that it received over 350,645 service applications from its customers in 2023 through its multiple service channels, including the call center (8006634), mobile app, website, and customer service centers.

His Excellency Eng Fahad Al Hammadi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, said: “The huge number of applications received is a testament to our customers’ trust and satisfaction of our services. MoEI has worked relentlessly to upgrade its e-services to make them user-friendly, expedite processes, and reduce the need for visits to service centers. In addition, it provided advanced training programs for its customer service employees to improve their efficiency and enhance the customer’s experience.”

He added: “The Ministry constantly takes new measures to improve the level of its services. These include revamping its website, upgrading mobile phone applications, and organizing a series of meetings and workshops with customers to get their feedback on how to offer better services. This is in line with the Government Services Development Guide 2.0 - a comprehensive resource that aims to support entities in the UAE deliver integrated services.”
