His Excellency Eng Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director General of Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, revealed that the program issued 4,334 housing approvals at a cost of over AED 3.338 billion in 2023. The approvals included 1,025 grants and 3,309 housing loans and funding.
He also noted that last year a total of 801 government houses were allocated among residential compounds in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah. 
His Excellency Eng Mohamed Al Mansouri said: “We are in the final stages of constructing 380 government houses in Al Suyoh 16 (currently named Mowrrada 8) in Sharjah and 267 government houses in Mohamed bin Zayed City in Ajman. We started delivering completed residences to the beneficiaries and the procedures are being completed with the partners. We are keen to implement the directives of the wise leadership, which is to meet the future needs of the citizens of the country, enhance family stability and quality of life for the citizens and achieve well-being and a decent and safe life for them.”
