The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and Dubai RTA review the best practices

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Roads and Transport Authority reviewed the best international practices in the transport and energy conservation sector, and a number of common issues.

This came during a virtual remote meeting in which officials from the Studies, Research and Development Department of the Ministry and the Knowledge and Innovation Department from the Authority met and discussed the work mechanisms used in common areas, in addition to exchanging knowledge and successful experiences in a manner that enhances the interest of work on both sides, and supports efforts to cross smoothly and efficiently for the next fifty years, and reaching the global leadership by the UAE Centennial 2071.

The meeting comes within the framework of the two sides' efforts to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the various federal and local government institutions, which would positively reflect on the work system and enhance the UAE's global leadership at various levels, especially in the energy, infrastructure, housing, and transportation sectors.

During the meeting, the mechanism and methodology of institutional research and preparation of studies, the selection of partners, the methodology of investment and spending in the studies, as well as the mechanism of publishing through conferences and scientific platforms were introduced.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Department of Studies, Research and Development, organized a virtual meeting with Khalifa University, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides, including discussing practical steps in the areas related to the Ministry’s work, and determining the future goals related to studies and research related to the Ministry’s field of work, and supporting the Ministry’s cooperation with leading academic bodies in the field of scientific research.
