The celebration of Emirati Child Day exerts efforts towards building future generations

H.E Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry, emphasized that the vision of the UAE leadership in allocating 15 March of each year as an occasion for the Emirati Child is a forward-looking vision that achieves goals, unites energies, and raises the efforts towards building the future generations, in a way that qualifies the children to be good individuals in society in line with UAE Vision 2021.
It also reflects the inspiring role of the Mother of UAE, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chair of the Family Development Foundation, and it highlights the endeavors and efforts exerted in bringing up the future generation with a sound education, and preparing future leaders.
HE stressed that the United Arab Emirates under the wise leadership has gone a long way in providing comprehensive and integrated services for the Emirati child in various fields, and has launched the National Strategy for motherhood and childhood, which was approved and applied by the Cabinet, and which was a real practical embodiment of the commitment to promote and protect the rights of the children, with a view to unifying and coordinating the various efforts in the country to protect children and provide all capabilities and means to care for them, and preserve their rights; in addition to enabling these groups in society to be an effective element in the future similar to other groups.
He added that the United Arab Emirates has implemented many initiatives aimed at preserving children, providing them with education, health, and comprehensive care, and enhancing their capabilities and talents. Moreover, such initiatives aims also at refining their personalities, encouraging them to innovate and learn, instilling in them authentic values and concepts of national identity, good citizenship, goodness, generosity and tolerance to be ambassadors of the Emirates and the children of Zayed wherever they are.
