The Minister of Energy and Industry chairs UAE delegation at World Energy Forum (IEF) at its 16th Session in New Delhi

The Minister of Energy and Industry chairs the UAE delegation at the 16th World Energy Forum (IEF) in New Delhi.
H.E Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry, participated in the Ministerial Meeting of the World Energy Forum in New Delhi, which was inaugurated by India's Prime Minister Narenda Moody. The World Energy Forum is the world's largest platform for inclusive and open energy dialogue between governments that are members of the Forum and industry decision-makers.
The Minister of Energy and Industry spoke in two sessions: "The Importance of Stability of Oil and Gas Markets in Global Markets", and "Financial Regulations and Legal Reforms to Attract Investment in the Energy Sector". On the sidelines of the forum, His Excellency met with the Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Ecuador, Egypt, Japan, Russia, India, Sudan, IEF Secretary-General, OPEC Secretary General and a number of other countries to discuss cooperation and strengthen strategic relations between the UAE and friendly countries in the energy field.
H.E Eng. Fatima Al Foora Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Electricity and Future Energy, participated in the Sustainability and Growth Session in the Energy sector and “access to energy at affordable prices "during the conference.
H.E Suhail Al Mazrouei was accompanied by HE Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources at the Ministry of Energy and Industry, HE Fatima Al Foora Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Electricity and Future Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Industry, and Mr. Talal Al-Fliti, Director of the Office of HE and Eng. Hind Al Mutawa, Director of Productivity Management.
