Suhail Al Mazrouei praises adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution by Emirati institutions, companies

Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry, praised the excellence of the UAE’s institutions and companies, as well as their adoption of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and other leading regional and international innovations.
In his statements during his visit to the Hannover Messe Industrial Exhibition in Germany, he stressed that the UAE is currently witnessing an unprecedented period of prosperity, which is based upon empowering Emirati youth, and has become the capital of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He added that the Mohammed bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity is empowering Emirati youth to communicate with a network of international partners, such as United Nations organisations, academic societies and commercial companies.
He also met with S. Iswaran, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Singapore, during the exhibition, and visited the pavilion of the "Technology and Innovation Leaders Platform," which was launched by the Ministry of Economy and the Department of Economic Development-Abu Dhabi.
The Minister then toured the exhibition’s pavilions, which included those of Digital Energy, Energon, Wolf Power Systems, Airbus Defence and Space, Volkswagen, JP Power Energy and E.ON.
Al Mazrouei also met with Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Messe, which organised the exhibition, to discuss ways of promoting mutual cooperation in major industrial events around the world, including the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit.
Klaus Helmrich, Board Member of Siemens International, received Al Mazrouei at his company’s pavilion, where they discussed energy applications and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The UAE Minister of Energy and Industry also visited the pavilions of the Ministry of Economy, the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi, the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, the Higher Institution for Industrial Zones, the Abu Dhabi Police and UAE University.
