The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry briefed on the preparations for the participation in the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Excellence in Government Performance

The Executive Committee for Excellence in the Ministry briefed HE Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry, in the presence of the heads of areas in the system of Government Excellence and its standards; in preparation for the Fifth Session of Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Outstanding Government Performance. The Executive Committee for Excellence followed up also the progress of the teams and motivate them to achieve the goal.
During his meeting with the Executive Affairs Council, HE stressed the need for concerted efforts, and highlighting the achievements and the most important initiatives and events that reflect the governmental orientations launched by the Ministry during the past two years; and to ensure the extent of conformity of the activities of the Ministry with the requirements of the system of Government Excellence. In addition, H.E emphasized on the importance of spreading the culture of excellence through a series of meetings to introduce the special updates on the standards of the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Excellence in Government Performance at its fifth session, noting that the march of excellence in UAE has been continuous since its establishment, making excellence a feature, a methodology and a practice in all government sectors.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Excellence in Government Performance, which is considered the highest award for corporate excellence in UAE, aims at enhancing the role of federal government institutions in serving all sectors of society, promoting awareness of the principles of excellence and its importance for modern governments, as well as developing the necessary capacities to promote excellence in all federal government institutions.
