Ministry of Energy and Industry organises youth-related activities marking UAE Innovation Month

AL AIN, 8th February, 2018 (WAM) -- The Ministry of Energy and Industry is observing the UAE Innovation Month with a series of youth-related activities, in co-operation with the Emirates Youth Council, including a session, titled, "Water Security Strategy 2036 and Foreseeing the Future of Managing Water Resources in the UAE."
The session, which was held at the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre in Al Ain, was attended by Dr. Matar Al Neyadi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry, and Fatima Al Foora, Assistant Under-Secretary for Electricity and Future Energy Affairs at the Ministry, as well as several other officials.
The session began with a presentation on the Water Security Strategy 2036 that was launched by the Ministry in September 2017, with the aim of guaranteeing sustainable water resources during natural disasters and emergency situations and achieving prosperity and happiness for the country’s people, as well as a sustainable national economy.
During the session, several topics were discussed, including water security, and a video was shown about the role of late Sheikh Zayed in preserving and developing the country’s water resources and guaranteeing their sustainability for future generations, as well as his care for the environment, which provided a happy and dignified life to the people.
