H.E Dr. Matar Al Nayadi: A Pivotal Role for UAE Women in the Energy and Industry Sector

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry, Dr. Matar Al Neyadi, confirmed the pivotal role played by Emirati women in the energy, water and industrial sectors in all local and international forums.

In a statement on this occasion of International Women's Day, he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the UAE woman for her efforts to enhance the honorable image of her presence alongside her brother and contributing to the progress and prosperity of UAE.

HE stressed the great support that the Emirati women have received from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and from Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, and from the wise leadership of UAE.

He said also: "the Emirati woman have clear achievements in preserving the new generation and educating them to become the best ambassadors armed with the ethics of the Islamic religion, and with the original values ​​of the state”.

HE added: "The Ministry is keen to continue supporting and empowering UAE women and strengthening their leader role in the energy, water and industrial sectors.
