World Government Summit | Suhail Al Mazrouei: We look forward during the OPEC + meeting to results that achieve balance in supply and demand

His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said that the UAE is part of "OPEC +" and sees wisdom in adhering to the organization's decisions to ensure market balance, as the security of energy supplies is a priority. His Excellency added in statements to the Emirates News Agency "WAM" on the sidelines of the Atlantic Council's Global Energy Forum that "OPEC +" will hold its meeting at the end of this March, and we look forward to results that achieve a balance between supply and demand away from political matters. The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure indicated that “OPEC +” is a non-political organization that looks at supply and demand, as we cannot treat oil-producing countries within the organization in a political way, which would affect market stability. Al Mazrouei said: It is necessary not to withhold oil from any country, as the world is in dire need of these quantities of oil. Al Mazrouei called on the countries of the world to be wise in dealing with the energy file in a way that does not affect the rise in global prices to new record levels.
